Symbol of Hope From The Kindergarten Students
Posted On Thursday November 14, 2024
Kindergarten students at St. John XXIII Catholic School incorporated the rainbow as a symbol of hope and God’s promise, as in the story of Noah's Ark. This symbol was used in art projects, where students made their own rainbows to show how hope brings color and brightness into our lives. They are displayed around the religion table in their classroom. Kindergarten educators shared that students sit in that space when they are “down or sad”. Students also learned ways they can be beacons of hope within their school community.
